Not original but personal. A friend once started singing to me 'Turning Japanese. I think you're turning Japanese.' She was, of couse, refering to my habit of taking a huge amount of photos everywhere I go. I hope you enjoy seeing into my world just a little bit.

ooh, raw squid is my favorite! octopus is good, too. and i'm quite picky when it comes to my food. nice photo you put together.
Aaaah the kind of sushi i like! you don't have to eat it... chu.
Very detailed sushi photo/description! I'm impressed.
Yum Sushi!!
Eel topping - YUCK!!
Are they ornaments? What are the plastic sushi for?
Every single restaurant has a display menu outside depicted by plastic food.
If you can't read Japanese, just snap a digital image of what you want and in you go...
I think the plastic stuff is hilarious. It's very popular in Thailand too, where Japanese restaurants are high status.
Thanks for your comment on my blog too about the doll tutorial - I was hoping to set up a gallery (an album?), so people wouldn't need to join a group, but I didn't know how so I set up a group instead! I'd love to know how to do a gallery.
Your pictures are awesome (I followed the link through to your flickr site). I think it is great that you can make mundane things look so magical in your photographs.
