- I was living in the lovely sea side town of Hikari in Japan. I had the most wonderful time over two years. I feel so lucky to have shared so many special times with friends and families. I am now home in Melbourne. I have gone back to work and enjoy teaching in a local primary school. I originally come from a small town 2 hours from Melbourne in Australia. One day love to be a travel photographer. I really don't want to stop travelling. Watchout world!

sorry to distract from your thailand excitement, but i wanted to comment here in case you were no longer reading below. just wanted to say that your pic of the ginko roots might be my very favorite picture on your whole blog; it's something i would hang on my wall. i hope you pursue photography; you seem to have a wonderful knack for capturing light and color in a way that makes me feel present to the shots. i may be a complete dilletante, but i really like your photos.
