When Green Peace came for lunch

I was surprised to hear that we were eating Green Peace for lunch today. The first graders seemed very excited. I was wondering how they were going to fit the whole boat in their mouths. And anyway, shouldn't Green Peace be off in the Pacific stopping whaling!

It turns out we were having green pea rice...
Green Peace = green peas

Your shogakko had "Green Peace" for lunch?! No wonder the whaling ships were able to set sail today from Shimonoseki without complications!

I hate the way they think 5 peas is a good serving. Looks like you only got 2 though! I must eat hundreds at a time at home :)

Actually Alex, there were tones in there!

You were lucky. When I asked them to provide enough peas for 12 people when I was doing a cookery class, they turned up with 1 little bowl (and then insisted on cooking them in the oven, but that's another story).
