Gokiburi (a word that scares most people)

Well I have just seen the first cockroach of the season. Yuck. Don't worry, it wasn't too traumatic. Actually it was a baby and it was stuggling on its back on my kitchen floor. First I drowned it in some cleaning spray and then I drowned it in the toilet. Who says you can't kill a cockroach?

Oh NO!!! damn. last summer i dealt with sleeping in the heat of an un-airconditioned, second-story room because i couldn't handle little feet pattering by my head on the tatami. they won that battle, and they'll win again. although, the last time i saw one was before i smoke-bombed my house...

if only the smoke also worked on the tokage (which are kind of fun), tonbo, kumo, kaeru, and mukade all of which can't seem to get enough of the summer holiday at resort dave...

I am lucky really. I don't get many (touch wood). I think this is the 3rd I have seen in my house the whole time I have been here...
As for your comment about smoke and kaeru - NOOOO! I love frogs.

Although I like most creepy crawlies, I really really don't like cockroaches. Its not easy being green so be friendly to your frogs.

Don't kill your frogs and lizards, David! How barbaric! And what do you have against dragonflies? But please keep up the killing of the cockroaches.
